I screamed so hard my throat was tender afterwards. That all-too-familiar uncontrollable rage. Like a volcano, it’s unpredictable and uncontrollable.
Decision, or Oblivion?
It’s tragic, on multiple levels, to watch young Islam men blowing themselves up in the name of Allah. They’re too young to be gripped by such hatred. Innumerable lives are destroyed, all because they believed a lie. Someone told them, likely an elder, that their god would be pleased if they killed Americans in his name.

In I Thessalonians 5, Paul is exhorting the church to be “alert and self-controlled” while awaiting Jesus’ second coming. He writes, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (vs. 11)

“If anyone loves God he is known by God.” (I Cor. 8:3)
Showing a genuine interest in someone by asking personal questions is an old-reliable sales technique. “Get to know your customer so you can meet his needs.”

I Timothy 6:17 reminds us that God “richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.” Oh how He has extravagantly provided with culinary choices! God’s generosity is vividly expressed by the plethora of possibilities for our plates. Consider the combination of colors.
