True Food

Jesus has been fasting for 40 days, so He doesn’t just have grumbly tummy. He’s ravished. He is literally sick with hunger. Wiley Satan says “If You’re God, turn these stones to bread.” Create what you want. Fulfill your needs yourself. Prove yourself.
A Messy Deck
One day he got into a boat with his disciples, and he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side of the lake.” So they set out, and as they sailed he fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger.
Divine Motivation
Does exercise feel like a never ending nag? You know it’s “good for you” but that doesn’t seem to draw you off the couch. You’d like to shed a few pounds, but that too is often insufficient motivation. How about lowering blood pressure or cholesterol?
